Chameleon-i has many other search features in addition to the Grids. This article gives you an overview, please refer to the 'Search Section' for step by step instructions on each search feature.
Global Quick Search
The global quick search enables you to search across all records in your database - companies, clients, candidates, vacancies and placements. Ordered in relevance, Click to open the record or click 'View All Results' to see all.
Tag Search
Tag searching is useful when you're searching for specific criteria - once you have built up your tag structure in the Admin panel you can then search for specific records based on those tag criteria.
You can build expressions such as MANAGER and/or SURREY not TRAINEE to get the required records you're looking for.
Tag searches can be run from all grids except from the candidate grid. For candidate tag searching use the Adhoc or Saved Search (see below for more information on these).
Vacancy Search
From a vacancy record you can create a saved search that is linked to the vacancy. Open a Vacancy record and click the magnifying glass icon to create a saved search.
Adhoc and Saved Candidate Search
Click 'Search' in the Smart Nav panel to run these.
The Adhoc search option is for one off searching i.e. a search you need to run today but do not want to save the criteria or results.
For further details on the individual search options please refer to the documentation in the 'Search Section' of the Knowledgebase.
