An RSS (A Really Simple Syndication) tool is a simple way to display your latest vacancies.
Candidates can subscribe to your RSS feed to keep up-to-date with all your latest vacancies when you publish them.
You can use an RSS feed in a number of ways including using a widget to publish on your website. The RSS feed will publish the Job title and a brief vacancy outline, candidates are able to click through to an auto-generated webpage with the complete job details where candidates can apply via email.
If you have an integrated Chameleon-i website the RSS feed will re-direct the user to the vacancy on your website, helping to drive additional traffic to your site enabling candidates to see the full spectrum of your agencies opportunities where they can register and apply to your vacancies.
You can also use your RSS feed to power your social media accounts, Facebook, Twitter, etc. With regards to Linked-In, because of the recent changes, we advise a third party product such as Hootsuite for such integration. Having an RSS feed will help improve your SEO rankings as your RSS feed can be indexed.
